# Alloy Governance Token ($ALLOYGV)

The Alloy Foundation issues $ALLOYGVs which confer voting rights. Operating as a DAO gives Alloy gamers and developers the option to have control in steering the future of Alloy. The proposal and voting mechanism of DAO democratizes the Alloy Foundation’s decision-making process, and staking rewards encourage engagement by the $ALLOYGV token holders. Some examples of proposals could be: which themes to be used for next Asset collections, which game studios to support with development grants, and whether to fund the development of additional functionalities of the Alloy Platform.
